While training in the South of France to get my pilot's licence (another avenue of pleasure now closed down) I got lost while doing a solo flight, my radio packed up; and I found out afterwards I had been blundering around in military airspace, and within a whisker of being escorted heaven-knows where by some French Mirages......I kid you not.....thankfully managed to find my home airfield...but was well up for crash-landing on the beach at St Tropaz....ah well.....back to spreadsheets.

I turned off my faher's life support equipment in 1993. He had 10% of a functioning liver, the remaining 90% was diseased and bleeding because someone did a biopsy on the wrong part. He was bleeding to death.
I found my mother dead on the floor too. A blood clot got stuck in her lungs because she had COPD.
The good news is neither of them will suffer from dementia.

A few facts that are 100% true
I played tennis against Lindsay Davenport (it was at the Hurlingham club in Chelsea).
I have played table tennis and won against Pat Cash (twice) but narrowly lost to Greg Rusedski.
I have played football at the old Wembley Stadium.
I was questioned by the police over the murder of John Lennon.
I was picked up and released by the police for a shooting I didn't do.
Apart from the last two I have photos and videos to prove the other facts.
I could probably think of a few more interesting facts about me but they are the first that spring to mind.
